Introduction
The world’s festival, Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 was held for 17 days from February 9 to February 25 in 2018 in Pyeongchang, Gangneung and Jeongseon, Gangwon-do Korea and that was the 23rd Winter Olympic Games. It has been held in 30 years since 1988 Seoul Olympic Games and it was the first Winter Olympics to take place in Korea with its unprecedented scale.
In addition, Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 was held for 10 days from March 9 to March 18 in 2018 with the total number of six events and 80 games, and 567 participants from 49 countries have taken part in which was the largest-ever.
Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 put up the slogan ‘Passion Connected’ started with its ambitious goal to make it a world festival encompass all generations and countries; and finished with huge success as Korea achieved the 7th rank with five Gold Medals, eight Silver Medals and four Bronze Medals.
