Gangneung Event Information

Wolhwa Street in Gangneung will host the 2023 Gangneung Wine Festival,
where you can enjoy a romantic day out in autumn. The festival offers a variety of programs,
such as Sunset Wine Hour, which introduces Gangneung’s local foods with wine, live performances, and wine-tasting events.

Other programs include “Challenge It! Wine Golden Bell,”
a quiz program including a true or false quiz where participants answer wine-related trivia,
and “Receipt Event,” a lucky draw using receipts of your purchases made during the day.
The festival also offers a wine night market from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. during the event to enjoy fantastic music and wine.

The name Dan Dan Dan comes from Dan (the best), Dan (the one and only), and Dan (we), meaning “the best and the one and only festival of our community.”
Dan Dan Dan Festival is a traditional art festival that has its foundation in Korean cultural heritage.
You can enjoy diverse performing arts focused on the traditional culture of Gangwon State.

The 2023 Dan Dan Dan Festival, celebrating its 3rd anniversary this year,
presents performances by traditional performing teams from 18 cities
and districts in Gangwon State, as well as the Yeongsanhong Concert.
You can enjoy Yeonhui Concert, where you can enjoy performances of hipster performers
that play pungmul nori (folk music and dance performance), mask dances, shamanic rituals, and expert traditional performances;
local performing artist groups; and visiting performances for rich and diverse experiences.
The festival will present diverse traditional performances across Gangneung downtown,
including Dangneung Dano Culture Center, Gangneung Namdaecheon Outdoor Stage, and more.
