Gangneung Anmok Travel Lounge



• Famous for its coffee and sea views, Anmokhaebyeon Beach is one of the top attractions in Gangneung. What began with a small coffee vending machine has since evolved into Gangneung Coffee Street, a seaside promenade lined with unique and stylish cafés. From oversized coffee cup sculptures to creative photo zones, Gangneung Coffee Street offers countless memories for every traveler.


• Located at the entrance of Gangneung Coffee Street, the Gangneung Anmok Travel Lounge is a multipurpose facility that combines the functions of a traditional tourist information center with modern rest areas and smart tourism services. It offers visitors a special space to relax while enjoying the scent of fresh coffee. Opened on November 18, 2024, this Travel Lounge is a one-story building covering 456.36 m², with an eye-catching design featuring elegant curves that flow like water.




• The main attraction within the facility is the lounge, a bright, comfortable space for resting and recharging. It also includes a workation room, which can be reserved in advance and used free of charge—perfect for travelers blending work and leisure. Additional amenities include lockers, restrooms, and a bank ATM, making it a reliable travel base for any Gangneung itinerary.


• To enhance the experience, a souvenir shop operates on-site, offering items that reflect the charm of Gangneung. Visitors can browse locally crafted magnets, postcards, scented candles, mugs, and mini pouches—all created in collaboration with small businesses and local artists.

Gangneung Gyeongpo Travel Lounge



• Gyeongpohaebyeon Beach, one of Gangneung’s most beloved vacation spots, is always buzzing with visitors. With its shallow waters and clear waves, it becomes especially popular during the summer. The wide sandy shoreline, crashing surf, and scenic walking trails beneath pine forests make it a vibrant destination year-round.


• Situated near the Central Plaza of Gyeongpohaebyeon Beach, the Gangneung Gyeongpo Travel Lounge is a customized, multipurpose facility that offers both comfort and convenience for visitors. It provides travel information and rest areas for those exploring Gyeongpohaebyeon Beach, Gyeongpodae Pavilion, Gyeongpoho Lake, and nearby attractions.




• Covering a total floor area of 331 m², the building has two above-ground floors. A tourist information center greets visitors at the first-floor entrance, while both levels are equipped with lounges and restrooms. Given its location amid a dense cluster of accommodations, this Travel Lounge is a convenient resting place for travelers awaiting check-in or relaxing after checkout.


• From the Gangneung Gyeongpo Travel Lounge, visitors can take in panoramic views of the sea, lake, and pine forest. Sit by the window and soak in the serenity of the pine woods, or relax on the second-floor terrace as you enjoy the refreshing sea breeze.
