Introduction

Chamsori Gramophone & Edison Science Museum displays 4000 gramophone, music box, radio, TV and 150 thousand relevant materials that director Son SeongMok collected from 60 countries around the world under the life threatening danger after he received a gramophone from his father when he was young. It is the largest collection museum.

It was founded under the name of "Chamsoribang" in 1982 in Songjeong-dong in Gangneung and has 30 years of history and tradition. You can listen to the sound with the guidance of curator and listen to music with the latest audio system in music appreciation room.

Facility details

The museum is 1320 square meter. There are 4 independent exhibition rooms by the artifacts, and 330 square meter wide music appreciation room, and observatory for Gyeongpo Lake on the third floor.
