Registered foreigner who has moved to a different place of residence

Within 15 days from the date of moving to a different place of residence

must notify the regional immigration office after 15 days

The registered foreigner who has moved to a different place of residence, or his/her spouse, family member, guarantor, or any other person falling under the Regulations on Representative Application and Receiving of Various Types of Visa, etc.

Application form, ID card, and proof of residence

• Regional immigration office with jurisdiction over the new place of residence
• Si/gun/gu office or eup/myeon/dong office with jurisdiction over the new place of residence

Registered foreigner of Korean descent (F-4 visa holder) who has moved to a different place of residence

Within 14 days from the date of moving to a different place of residence

must notify the regional immigration office after 14 days

The registered foreigner of Korean descent who has moved to a different place of residence, or his/her spouse, family member, guarantor, or any other person falling under the Regulations on Representative Application and Receiving of Various Types of Visa, etc.

• Si/gun/gu office or eup/myeon/dong office with jurisdiction over the new place of residence
• Regional immigration office with jurisdiction over the new place of residence (Chuncheon Immigration Office or Donghae Branch for Gangneung residents)
