- The 2023 Gyeongpo Summer Festival returns after a 4-year COVID-19-induced hiatus to span eight glorious days starting on the 30th (Sun) -

The representative summer beach festival of the East Coast, where you can beat the heat by enjoying the cool pine forest and refreshing ocean, is set to unfold on Gyeongpo Beach.

The 2023 Gyeongpo Summer Festival, being held for the first time in 4 years due to COVID-19, has undergone a facelift that is sure to deliver even greater excitement for all visitors during the eight days from July 30 (Sun) to August 6 (Sun).

A specially constructed stage will be installed on Gyeongpo Beach's welcoming sand to offer visitors distinctive and colorful performances. A Cool Summer Park will host a scintillating lineup of events in the central plaza that all generations can enjoy.

○ On a special stage, different themed performances will take place every day from 7:30 PM. After the performance, a water cannon soak show that is sure to provide instant relief from the midsummer heat, along with EDM DJs, guarantee a fun-packed summer spectacular.

○ On July 30, for Rock Band Day, be there to welcome the Yuk Joongwan Band and Lazybone. On Diva Day, August 2, HYNN (Park Hye-won) will perform, and on Hip Hop Performance Day, August 3, MUSHVENOM and Rhythm Power will take to the stage. On August 4, for the K-POP Concert, Norazo and Yoyomi, among others, will have the audience on their feet.

○ Street karaoke with YouTube influencers and a beach song festival involving talented young musicians from around the country are also planned. These events will provide a place for all citizens and tourists visiting Gyeongpo Beach to enjoy the atmosphere and communicate in the common language of fun.

Cool Summer Park, located in the central plaza of Gyeongpo Beach, will welcome visitors to a large rest area to cool off and a Kids Sand Sports Zone where families can engage in a laugh fest of not-serious water gun fights, sand sculpture creations, and rewarding treasure hunts in the sand.

Along with experiential programs such as face painting and natural bug repellent making, a beach cleanup environmental event will enhance the beautiful and pleasant eco-friendly image of Gyeongpo Beach.
