Prepaid cards (T-Money Card, Cashbee Card )

• Transportation cards can be purchased at a convenience store or subway station.
• You can use your transportation card to pay the train, bus, subway, or taxi fare.
• The card costs 2,500 won each. You can load your card in increments of 1,000 won.

Postpaid card

• This is a postpaid transportation card mainly issued by credit card companies. Generally, a debit or credit card with an RF function can be used as a transportation card.
• The postpaid transportation card can be use it immediately without loading the card. It can be issued only to those over the age of 19, and there is no youth discount.

Transfer system

• When using the bus or subway, those with transportation cards are eligible for free or discounted transfers.
• The transfer system is a discount system in which fares are paid according to the distance traveled when transferring between buses or at a subway stations, from the bus to the subway, or vice versa.

When using cash, the transfer system does not apply.

The transfer system does not apply to taxis and trains.
